Lately, I have been thinking about all of my childhood dreams... How many I accomplished and how many I didn't even pursue. Childhood dreams and goals are bigger than a New Year's Resolution, although I try to keep those too, they are something you don't just think about once and let go. Many of these dreams I would have had to start at a young age in order to accomplish them, hence another reason I haven't done so but what about those that I can still do? Just because I am a 'grown-up' now should that mean that I can go out and start new things? Absolutely not! It means I don't have to ask permission to chase my goals and dreams! I have a great support system in my friends and family but even more so in my fiancé. He always encourages me to follow my dreams whether they be big or small, crazy or not which is great since I am away from my friends. Farrel helps to keep me on track and motivated to always try new things and reach for my dreams. Who's to say I can't accomplish them now? No I won't be an amazing gymnast. That's quite obvious but I could still be a personal trainer, pastry chef, great wife and mother and so many other things that would come from that same list. A few of my goals and dreams may have been outgrown or are just not an option anymore but why should that mean I failed at all of them?! I think of everything I have already done in life and what I have made of myself and I know anything is possible. I am very blessed with what I have in life and knowing that the sky is the limit for myself and my family. Life will give you curve balls and try to knock you down but if you remember pain is temporary and everything can be accomplished if you just try hard enough. If you don't try, you will fail. If you quit, you will fail. This video, Why do we fall?, helped me to see a few things more clearly through just some of the inspiration yet very TRUTHFUL quotes within. If you want something go get it. You can't be afraid to fail.. you can't always win but don't be afraid of making decisions. He who says he can and he who says he can't are both usually right. Each of these quotes just make you think about what you can do if you just set your mind to it and aren't afraid to fail. Yes, you may not be great at it but you haven't failed until you have given up. I came across this picture today that couldn't just reassured me to go after my dreams and to set new ones! To live my life to the fullest and never be afraid to fail.
